StreamAMG has been nominated as a finalist in the Best use of Technology in Football (not club specific) category at the 2019 Football Business Awards.
The awards pays tribute to the supporting businesses that assist and enable the success of the game. A national event with a ceremony at the end of November, these awards recognise and reward the off-pitch talents and endeavours that are an invaluable, if sometimes invisible, part of the fabric of football. The nomination recognises our work across the 18-19 season applying our CloudMatrix video content population system to meet the business objective of new clients and existing partners.
Built to meet the needs of our football club clients, the feed-based platform tags and queries video archives to return dynamic playlists of that auto-populate with new relevant uploads. This drastically cuts production time by automating scheduling, personalisation, OTT distribution and complete syndication control for busy content managers, and allows new on demand services to be launched in weeks rather than months. Ultimately, CloudMatrix allows clubs to put their digital video resource where it matters; producing engaging, innovative content.
In 2018, StreamAMG won a Silver Award in Best Use of Technology in Football, and was named as a finalist in the Best Large Business Serving Football category.
Chief Operating Officer Matt McKiernan reacted to the news: "It's fantastic to named as a finalist for the Football Business Awards. The awards have become more competitive every year since our first nomination in 2012, so it's testament to the hard work of the whole team that we've been named as finalists again in 2019."
