StreamAMG added yet another award to its trophy cabinet at the Football Business Awards 2018 in London.

The company picked up Silver in the Best Use of Technology in Football category for its Cloud Matrix solution.

The feed-based video distribution system is used by a number of Premier League football clubs as well as other sporting clients.

Representatives of StreamAMG were on hand at the glittering awards ceremony to collect the award.

The judges described Cloud Matrix as “a new innovation for back end media work; this product addresses supporters insatiable desire for more, quicker and higher quality content.”

StreamAMG’s chief operating officer, Matt McKiernan, said: “The fact that the judges have recognised Cloud Matrix as a leader in the sports technology space is a real reason for celebration.

“Looking at the competition, this award is a significant achievement and is testament to the hard work put in by everyone throughout StreamAMG.

“This award builds on our successes this year, including Best Digital Business at the Big Chip awards and Best Business Serving Football at the recent North West Football Awards.”
