Applicaster, a leading SaaS platform provider for OTT applications, and StreamAMG, a global sports OTT provider that powers some of the world’s most recognised direct-to-fan sports services, have today (5 February 2026) announced a new strategic partnership to deliver sports fans a premium TV viewing experience.
Customers of StreamAMG’s OTT platform, Blaze, can now easily launch and scale applications across eight major TV platforms, significantly accelerating their expansion into the connected TV ecosystem and bringing fans closer to live and on-demand sports content on the big screen.
With sports audiences increasingly shifting toward large-screen viewing, connected TV has become a critical channel for both fan engagement and monetisation. By combining StreamAMG’s sports OTT backbone with Applicaster’s no-code app platform, Zapp™, the new partnership will enable customers to launch TV apps faster, operate them more efficiently and continuously optimise the user experience.
Applicaster and StreamAMG are already supporting clients, such as Leeds United, to extend their reach beyond web and mobile to deliver consistent, high-quality experiences across additional devices. Further partnerships with StreamAMG clients will be announced in the coming months.
Paul Hunt, Managing Director at StreamAMG, says:
“Connected TV has become one of the most important ways fans enjoy live and premium sports. By teaming up with Applicaster, we’re making it much easier for our customers to bring their OTT experiences to the big screen. This partnership removes friction, speeds up time to market, and ultimately helps sports organisations connect with fans wherever and however they choose to watch.”
Ido Hadari, CEO at Applicaster, says:
“Sports streaming businesses need flexibility, speed and reach. This partnership with StreamAMG makes it easier for sports brands to launch and scale TV apps as part of a broader OTT strategy, while continuing to evolve their fan experience based on real audience behaviour.”
The new collaboration between Applicaster and StreamAMG reflects a shared vision, helping sports brands build future-ready, direct-to-fan streaming businesses that are focused on performance, scalability and user experience.
